Froggies over at BBTB2 this week! I'm right at home!

Hi everyone and it's challenge time again over at Bitten By The Bug 2 and I am telling you this is a FUN one! It was Carri's turn to pick the challenge and she picked the "Froggie" from "Create A Critter" and as you all know, I Love the Froggie's, so this was lots of Fun for me, LOL!
Well I made a card this week and actually it's a kinda big one, almost 8 x 8, so it could be technically a layout, lol! And you never know I may put it on a layout. That might be kinda cute, and 8 x 8 album. One side an image and the other side add the photo's. (Note to self: "Pick up a 8 x 8 album"!)
Well I used Design Studio again (love it!) and welded a bunch of images together and came up with this! I added the Sun cut @ 5", the Pond @ 2" (but I stretched it to give it more depth), Frog @ 3", Lilypad @ 3 1/2", Grass @ 2" & 3", Flower @ 4" and the Dragonfly @ 2". If it had a shadow I cut one but some I had to stretch to make my own shadow. I embossed almost all of the images using Swiss dots, Devine swirls, Spiderweb, & Forest Branches and my Cuttlebug. Everything is popped for dimension and I also inked everything using Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalk Inks in various colors along with some doodling dots with a brown jelly roll pen. The hearts are a punch and I added some cute Googley eyes to my Froggie and also the dragonfly. And speaking of my Dragonfly, he wiggles! I put him on a piece of wire I curled  to make him look like he's in flight! Cute huh, lol! I also cut the dragonfly wings out of vellum and added some Diamond stickles to them and a funny thing happened to them, it was like they had a chemical reaction to the vellum and they started to curl and distort. You can't really tell and once it dried they look fine but it was kind of strange. Has that ever happened to any of you?
(Here's a close up of that cute little Dragonfly!)

Well I sure hope you join us over at BBTB2 Blog for the "Froggie" challenge and remember if you don't have the Create A Critter cartridge you can use any Frog from any other cartridge. The challenge is open for two weeks and please just make sure it's a NEW project to link up and you could win our Great Blinkie, along with Braggin Rights of Course! Hope to see you there!

((Hugs)) and Take Care!

This is absolutely adorable. Just about the cutest froggie and dragonfly that I have ever seen. Thanks so much for the detailed tutorial. Like you, I also love Design Studio, and just wish so much that PC would continue to improve on this great program. There are so many of us who feel this way, but I guess that they want to go in a different direction. DS just feels comfortable, like an old shoe, and I can work so much faster with it than I can with the Gypsy. Maybe I am just getting too old for progress!?
