With Halloween coming I thought it would be fun to make some Cards and what Witch, oops, I mean Girl doesn’t love shoes???? And what do Witch’s and shoes have in common you ask??
Well this Witch made a few Witch Shoe Cards!!
I used my Cricut to make these and the Happy Hauntings Cartridge. I used all kinds of papers on these. They are all Quick Quotes papers with the exception of the card-stock which is Colorbok. I used Cherry Truffle, French Quarter, Miss Morgan, Savvy Davvy, and some of the May Cosmo Cricket leftover papers.
I inked everything with the Yummy Quick Quotes Powder Puff Chalk Inks, Mocha Mama and Midnight Confessions.

The extras I used are the ribbons, Black Crinkle ribbon, Sheer Black and Black Gingham, a couple of Martha Stewart punches and a bit of bling, that’s it very minimal!
The Witch Shoe is cut at 5 3/4" and I created it in Design Studio and welded two shoes together and then added all my layers to the card base. This one is made with the Cherry Truffle and some scraps from the May Club Q kit, a Martha Stewart punch for the scallop at the top with the gingham ribbon, some black crinkle ribbon and some added bling.
This one is made with the Cherry Truffle, Savvy Davvy and more of the May Club Q papers. Another Martha Stewart punch, some black crinkle ribbon and some bling.

And last but not least the last one is made with Miss Morgan, Savvy Davvy and French Quarters papers. Martha Stewart punch with sheer black ribbon and some bling.
Here's a fancy view of all the Fabulous Shoes, Wouldn't you just love to wear a pair of these Beauties, I sure would!
I just wanted to highlight the versatility of all the Quick Quotes papers and how you can mix and match them and make them your own! I think I succeeded don't you, I love these and please make sure to keep checking out all the inspiration that goes on with the Quick Quotes Blog and the Amazing Design Team. There are tips, tutorials, Guest Designers, Previews of the new Club Q Kits, Challenges and Great Contests with Amazing Prizes!
Well I sure hope you all like my shoes, (heck what girl doesn't love shoes, lol!) I had so much fun wearing, ooops I mean making them and I think I may be making some more of them, I think even if I did a bit of altering I could use some vintage looking papers and give them a whole other vintage look, so hopefully I'll see you all again and I'll get some more shoes (and Ken can't get mad at me because I didn't spend a dime, lol!)

Theresa

I just love these witchy, I mean girly boots. I love the color combination and all the embellishments. TFS
Absolutely Fabulous! I think they would also look great cut from wood...how cute would they be on a mantle?
I must say, these shoe cards are the best halloween cards I've ever seen. thanks for sharing and please don't mind that I may make one for my 97 year old mom who is still a shoe horse.
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but I cannot find detailed instructions for the Shoe Cards?
Can you "weld" using the gypsy? If so, how do I do that? I know how to weld, not sure they will weld across the top only?
Also, did you glue the top edge ribbon on the outside of the card? In other words, it's not tucked in at the top some how.
And finally, did you cut the prints using the "shadow" key on the cricut?
Thanks sooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!
These are beautiful! You are so talented. I just looked through your entire blog and I was amazed by your work. I am now a follower.
