Bewitching with BBTB2 and The Stamping Boutique!

Welcome Ya'll, How the heck have you been!? Well I've been good and busy and been doing some Digi Stamping this week with Bitten By The Bug 2 and The Stamping Boutique! Now Stamping is not my forte but I'm starting to get into it! I still don't have any Copic markers, I still use colored pencils, actually I use the Prisma colored pencils and Mineral Spirits (also know as Gamsol) I would love to have some Copics, and maybe one day I will but as of now, Nope! Colored pencils are very easy to use with the spirits, you can just color (and it doesn't have to be perfect) and then come back and "paint" with the Mineral Spirits and everything just flows and looks like paint (or a cheaper version of Copics, lol)! There are plenty of videos on YouTube if your interested. But anyway back to the challenge over at BBTB2 this week....................................
We have a sponsor with The Stamping Boutique and we used the Happy Hauntings Cartridge this week using one of the frames for our Digi image! I had an Amazingly "Bewitching" time, lol! Ken even said it looks like I did a self portrait of myself with my favorite ride but why did I make my hair black instead of red, LOL! Hey, I wish I was that thin so he must be mistaken, lol!
Well I made a card and used a pre-made card base and cut my frame at 7" and popped the top layer with dimensional foam. Cut Bewitching at 1 5/8" with the shadow and again, layered it with foam. The Witches Hat is cut at 2" and the Black Cat is cut at 3" and all are dimensional. Added some silver ink to give it some more texture and not look so new and the doodle dot's are actually Silver dots but they look white.
Well I sure hope you join us over at BBTB2 along with the current challenge sponsored by The Stamping Boutique which is make a NEW project and Use your Cricut (the Design Team used the Happy Hauntings cartridge) but you are free to use any cart with a frame BUT you need to add a stamp somewhere on your project! You think your up for the challenge, lol!? It will be fun with a little spin so what do you say................You may just win a great prize form The Stamping Boutique and our great Pick Of the Week (POW) Blinkie to add to your blog, along with bragging rights, of course! So I sure hope to see you there and link up to Mr. Linky!

I also have some other news to share with ya'll!
We have a New Addition to the family! Isn't she A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! She was just born on Fri. 8/19/11 and she less then a day old here and so soft and cuddly. I just had to share her with you all. Well have a great week and hope to see you over at BBTB2 this week!

((Hugs)) and Take Care, Theresa!

Love this Theresa! Acutally, it reminds me of "Bewitched", one of my favorite tv shows when I was a kid. Your coloring is gorgeous. You do great with the Prismas. Love the additional cuts you added too. What would a witch be without her "familiar"? Too cute! xxD

Wow Theresa, this is wonderful. I love how you added the foam tape for the dimension. Great idea! Love the new addition to your family, too. It amazes me that newborns can stand up so quickly.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!! I'm glad you picked this image because it was a toss up for me between this one and the one I did. I love what you did with it--everything about it :) Nothing wrong with colored pencils as far as I can see--you do fabulous with them :) Your new addition is ADORABLE and looks SO soft :)

Your card DOES remind me of "Bewitched" which was a fave TV show for me.... I always wanted to be able to wiggle my nose and make things happen. Good things, that is. Your card is just darling...great great coloring with those pencils. Oh my your new addition is precious.
