The Crowning Touch Over at BBTB2 Challenge!

Hey all, Happy Monday! I all hope you had a Blessed and Lovely Easter with your Family. We had a very Quite and relaxing day. I have almost got caught up on my computer duties, lol! I sure did miss all of you last week. It was just a crazy week at work and this week will be just as crazy (if not a bit crazier) but I'll get through it, LOL!
Well this week's challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 comes from the Wonderfully Talented Julie! She picked either of the Crowns on the Home Decor Solutions cartridge. Now remember, if you don't have that cartridge you can use any cart with a crown on it! I also used the Lovely Floral Lite cartridge (the one's from Wal-Mart) with Home Decor. I always wanted to use the Scrap Queen cut on that cart and what a perfect opportunity this was! I even got to add a crown for the Queen! And  what else does a crown need but some Bling, lol!
I also used a pre-made tag card from K & Co, the size is 5" x 7", and also an older stack from K & Co. called Peabody. I used a Martha Stewart punch and some ribbon I purchased after Xmas.
Well I had all these scraps and thought I would make a tag to go with the card and I have to say it turned out kinda Cute, whatcha think! The tag is a pre-made manila mailing tag, 2 1/2" x 5" also, but I handmade the flowers and the leaves and since I had made two crowns (I wasn't sure which one would look better, giggle) so what better place to add the extra Crown too, Right! The imagine sticker is just that, a sticker and it's popped like the crown so it gives it some extra dimension. The only difference is that the crown on the card has rhinestones and the crown on the tag has some gold brad type gems. Both are heat set so I used my I-Rock for both. Also everything is inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Also the twine is not Baker's twine (but it kind of looks like it) it's a bit thicker then baker's twine and I got it at Michael's. It's called Sugar 'n Cream Twist and I got it in the yarn section. I've also seen it at Jo Ann's. Don't get me wrong, I love the Baker's twine but I haven't had a chance to get me any YET! It's on my LONG list of wants, lol! I also added a bit of ink to the twine to give a distressed look (it was a bit too "clean" looking!)
Well I sure hope you will be able to join us at BBTB2 this week in the challenge and just remember if you don't have the Home Decor cart, any cart with a Crown will work! Link up to Mr. Linky and you could win our Pick of The Week (POW) Blinkie to add to your blog, along with bragging rights of course, lol!

Well I hope you have a wonderful Week, hope to see you at the challenge!

((Hugs)) and Take Care! Theresa

Wow! LOVE the roses and I love that thick bakers twine. It looks like I know what I'm getting with my M's coupons this week. Have you done a tutorial on the roses?

Love, love, love your design Theresa. I was going to make a wall hanging for my craft room and use that sentiment but then I needed a card for my mother-in-law's birthday and thought she deserved the crown more.

As always Theresa your creations are amazing and attention to detail just perfect!!I have some bakers twine but think your thicker yarn looks so much nicer and of course your colours match perfectly! Love both of these!
