Ready 2 Rock BBTB2 Style!!!

Rock On is all I can say! I was Totally out of my element with this challenge but I think I Totally Rocked It! Make sure you head on over to BBTB2 and rock out with everyone there with the challenge this week. I actually had fun with this once I finally did it. I didn't have the Hannah Montana Cartridge that we were to use so Heather was so sweet and cut out and send me the featured cut. I knew I wanted to add a guitar on it and used one of my all time fav carts, Indie Art, love it! Once I cut out the guitar (Love the red, my favorite color) so I used my trusty packing tape method and added the glitter in red on the saying and silver on the guitar. I seen the wings and just had to use them! Love the wings also from Indie Art. Had to add some bling (it just kinda always goes with the glitter, like milk and cookies, ice cream and cake, you get the picture LOL) This card is going to be for my oldest son Brian, he turns 29 next month and I am making him a mini book with this same sort of theme because he plays the guitar. He taught himself a few years ago and actually he is pretty good! Pretty good since he's never taken a lesson! Just something he wanted to do (but he never told me when he was younger) so he got a guitar and started playing! Anyway back to the card, Brian has a few tattoos and on the Indie Art cart there are some tattoo looking cuts so I had to add one (actually I thought it needed a little something Hee Hee) Everything is popped to give it some dimension and depth and I am Very Happy with the way it turned out! Totally not me but you never know I may have opened a whole new side of me LOL! Well head on over to BBTB2 and enter the challenge, I would love to see how your "Ready 2 Rock" and if you don't have the Hannah Montana Cart you can use what you like. Also please show the love and leave a comment, you know we all love the comments!

Okay I had to add a picture of my boys, McCade and Brian (Aren't they both Good Lookin Dudes!). Brian is going to get the Ready 2 Rock card for his Birthday. These pictures were taken last July when we had went to Yellowstone. We had so much fun and it was so beautiful there. I want to go back and spend a few more days there camping.

BBTB2 Challenge Featuring Peggy Loves Vintage!

How exciting is this! My second post to BBTB2 and this week is using Peggy Loves Vintage and boy oh boy was it FUN! I love vintage and I thought it would be easy but when I saw the images I had a hard time deciding which one to use...........decisions, decisions LOL! I fell in love with this image, like love at first sight, and kept coming back to this so guess what......... yep you guessed it! LOL
Well first we were to use a tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and I used the tag on Pg. 88. I used Design Studio and welded 3 tags together and made a gate fold card. I had to make it dimensional and cut 3 layers for the cute little girl and 2 for the cute little boy.
I also used Life's a Beach again for the water and the little starfish that I added into the cuties sand pail and in the water. Also I have been DYING to use these micro beads on something and finally used them on the mounds of sand to give it some extra pizazz and LOVE how it turned out. (it looks SOOO much better in person tho!)
I was going to use real sand but I thought it would be too messy so used the beads (boy those beads sure do roll around tho and make just as big a mess as sand LOL) I'm not showing the inside of the card because I'm not sure what I'll use this for yet (LOL) so I just used some cloud paper and added some extra water cuts. I'll probably keep it and leave it out for my own enjoyment Hee Hee!
Well I seen what the gals on the BBTB2 creations are so make sure you go and see their amazing work also and maybe enter the challenge and if you don't have Tags, Bags, Boxes & More you can use any tag from any cart you would like. Now head on over and check it out and please make sure you leave a comment for me and if you like please feel free to follow me. I sure would Love it! Take Care, Big ((Hugs)) and Have a Great Day all you wonderful gals!

Happy Mother's Day!

I know it's not Mother's Day yet but I couldn't wait to post this card. I think it turned out really cute and I think my Mother In Law is going to Love it too! She probably won't see it on here since she doesn't get on the computer that often. She likes sunflowers and last year McCade grew some enormous ones in the garden and we saved the seeds and he gave a bunch to his Grandma last year at Thanksgiving for her to plant this year. I love making these little flowerpot cards and got the directions originally from Lorraine last year and there is also numerous directions on YouTube (Here's one). I made a slightly bigger one tho because Ken said the original one was a little "puney" so I cut it 4 1/2" x 11 1/2" (score at 2 1/2" & 7") and the insert pieces (the part you add the flowers to and also write on) at 2 3/4" x 5 3/4 & 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"  I used Walk in my Garden for the sunflowers and leaves and then embossed them with the cuttlebug. The decorative punch is a Martha Stewart punch named Garden Trellis. Used the computer for "Happy Mother's Day" and cut it with my nesties and McCade found the little bee in some of my craft supplies along with the bling and HAD to use it! LOL And of course I had to make one of my signature bookmarks. Well as always thanks for looking and you really should try one of these for yourself, they are alot of fun and fairly easy and you can use ANY kind of flowers from ones cut from the Cricut's numerous Cartridges to Primas or even silk flower's.

Well Here it is! My 1st BBTB2 post Woo Hoo!!!

Well everyone the day I've dreamed about is finally here..............LOL
My 1st post for the BBTB2 challenge as their Guest Designer Woo Hoo!!!!!! I was so nervous and yet so excited to do this. I kept changing things over and over because I kept thinking how can I compare with all of these amazing Designer's and even had it done early because I was afraid that I would have problems with sending the pics over so I sent them Sat (and yes I did have problems, LOL). The challenge was to use the leaf1 from Life's A Beach and here is my rendition of it! Everything is from the Life's a Beach cartridge and loved the little gecko (they didn't have a little froggie Hee Hee) and yea I know I could have used another cart but I had to get out of my comfort zone and do something different! And this is different for me! I'm not a tropical kind of gal and the colors are not normal for me but I have to tell you I'm lovin the colors! And had to add a little friend to go with the big daddy and made a little bookmark. I am so addicted to making these and have to do one for every card I make lately! LOL Also had to add a bit of bling and stickles to give it a little sparkle. Now you all have to go and check out all the other amazing gals over at BBTB2 and see all the amazing creations that they all did. It is so amazing to see all the different ideas that everyone comes up with on the use of a little ole leaf, LOL! All I can say is AMAZING!
Well make sure you take a peek at BBTB2 and please leave those much appreciated comments and if your new to my site please I hope you like it and would consider becoming a follower, I would love it!
So have an amazing day and take care, Theresa!

My 1st Challenge over at Bitten By the Bug 2!!!!

Hey you all, I just Love this little froggie from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge! As you can guess I just Love Froggies in general LOL! Well I am submitting this to a challenge over at http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/ . This is the first time I am submitting to a challenge and I am very excited and happy with this card. Woo Hoo! We were to use the ice cream tab on From My Kitchen and this is my take on it. I used a pre-made card from Michael's for the base and the paper is from DCWV (older stack) I "popped" everything with pop dots to give it some dimension. The flowers are done with an older Stampin Up punch and the bling in the middle is just some bling I had. The ribbon is from Michael's and the little dragonflies are a punch that I doubled and of course the googley eyes just give him so much character! LOL Now the flower stems are done with a packing tape method I love to use. You put the tape on the back of the paper, sticky side up, and then I added Martha Stewart glitter. I have numerous examples on some of my older posts if you want to check out the packing tape method (the girlie girl cards and the non-traditional V-day cards). Now if I ever get me a new video camera I think the packing tape method will be my first video because I use it so much, love it, and I just LOVE glitter and bling! Now on the inside I used the cut out left over pieces from the original ice cream cut and added it to the inside with my "hoppy birthday" stamp that is form an older Stampin Up set which is one of my favs and added more flowers like the front to tie everything together! I think I'm going to send this to my Daughter for her birthday next month. She'll get a kick out of it because she knows how much I like froggies. LOL Hope you all like it and show the love and leave me some comments, I love them!

My Adorable Grand Kids!

My Daughter just sent me some pictures of the kids and I just had to share a couple of them. Aren't they adorable! I'm a little bias tho but they sure are some little cuties! I can't believe how much the girls look like there Mommie. I've been told by alot of people that all of us girls look alike LOL. I don't have any recent pics of all of us together but next time I see them I'll have to get one. Then you'll all have to tell me if we all look alike. Hee Hee I just seen them in July when Ethan was born and of course I'm always the one taking pictures so I'm never in any of the pics. LOL Sis had one of her friends take the pics and they really turned out great. I'll be scrappin some of these pics and get her an album for Xmas made up or if I'mfeeling really ambitious I'll try for her Birthday in May.
