So what do you think, "Sweet" huh, lol! I used the strawberry on the Preserves cartridge and made it into a shape card and also added some dimension, embossing, inking and a bit of doodling. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I sure hope you join us over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SOUS</a> for the challenge, just remember to think "Fruit" and lets see what kind of Fruit projects you come up with! McCade was off last week for Easter break and then Ken took the week off to do some home improvements around the house and I had so many things that I wanted to get done also but can you believe it, I started a new job! I'm still at Hallmark since it's only part time but I had to do some training last week and needed to be focused since I seem to go in to many directions so I needed to concentrate so I put everything on the back burner. I'll fill you in on the new job in another post since I need to get this done quick and get to work again but as you know over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches</a> we have another challenge for you!<br />
This week is "April Showers" and when I hear that I always think of Flowers and Umbrellas so that's what I gave you! I had a heck of a time on this Easel card (started it 3 times, can you believe that, lol) and I'm still not liking it but here it is! I used the Celebrate With Flourish cartridge on this and cut my Umbrella @ 6" and the wording is cut @ 3 1/2". My little flowers are a punch and added some Bead in a Bottle for the centers and also used my Spellbinders dies for the cut out die with the "Bring The Flowers"! Now I know the saying is April Showers Bring May Flowers but when I was little I always used to say April Showers Bring <b>The</b> Flowers!<br />
<br />
Now make sure you check out the Gals over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">The SOUS Blog</a> (amazing projects, as always) so I hope you join us for the April Showers challenge!<br />
Thank Goodness it's Friday and I have Saturday off so I hope I get a chance to get some gardening done (wish me luck, lol!)<br />
Have a Great Weekend! <br />
<br />
((Hugs)) and Take Care, Theresa</div>**Treefrog**http://www.blogger.com/profile/01708099988296189511noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7393201185748118303.post-91689622992469917152012-04-06T00:00:00.001-04:002012-04-06T00:00:00.129-04:00Spring Is In The Air with SOUS!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh317/mccadesmom/SAM_3892_edited.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh317/mccadesmom/SAM_3892_edited.jpg" width="235" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hi everyone and Boy Oh Boy, Spring sure is in the Air and all of us over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches</a> are Celebrating Spring with some really Fun Springy projects to share with you all! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Well I don't know about you all but here in Kentucky there are so many flowers that just grow wild all over out here and I don't know about you but what says Spring better then Wildflowers (or flowers in general, lol)! Well McCade loves to pick me some wildflowers and we always put them in a old Vintage Yellow Pitcher and this image from the Country Life Cartridge reminded me of that! Now I know this looks like and Easel card, and it is, but it has a little surprise on it too........................... </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh317/mccadesmom/SAM_3897.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh317/mccadesmom/SAM_3897.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The Pitcher actually opens for another little card, so it's a card on a card! Now I cut the image at 6" so it's a nice size card so the actual card is about a 6" x 7", so its a nice size! And with it being an Easel card it has it's own frame! The Paper is from <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/" target="_blank">Quick Quotes</a> along with the Chalk Mocha Mama Ink and I also used a Spellbinders die for the stamped image and the stamp is from <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs-shop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs Stamps</a>. A Martha Stewart punch, some Vintage Seam Binding and of course some Bling.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Now I sure hope you join us over at the <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SOUS Blog</a> for the challenge. You have two weeks to enter and it just has to be a NEW project and please add a link back to <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SOUS</a>, that's it! Oh and I almost forgot, there's some REALLY Awesome candy to be won! <a href="http://nannes-creations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Nanne</a> made some Beautiful Handmade Roses to be won! Boy I sure wish I could enter! (Maybe I'll try sneaking an entry in there, do you think anyone will notice, lol!) Just Kidding, I'm just going to have to try and make me some! See You all there!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Well my first thought was "Once Upon A Princess" so that is where my project came from. What Princess doesn't have a Crown and I cut mine @ 3 1/2" and welded it in Design Studio to make a card. Then I used the Word "Princess" with a few layers cut it @ 2". Now this is a pretty simple card for me but you know me, I had to add some dimension, so lots of pop dots, lol! Added a few pretty flowers from Recollections and just a few touchs of the bling in a little crown and a star from some I had (and sorry I don't remember where I got them from) and then on the little princess hat I added some Iridescent streamers (actually it's some shiny iridescent string, lol) but thought it was perfect and I just made a little tassel and glued it on and added a touch more bling. Then I added some Bead In A Bottle for some more texture (actually I wish I would have used some purple bling) but it does look better in person. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well that's it, I sure hope you join us over at <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> for the Princess challenge. Just remember, it has to be a NEW Project and you need to add our blog link to your post. Pretty easy and you could be the proud recipient of our POW (Pick of the Week) Blinkie to add to your blog, along with bragging rights of course, lol! See you over at <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Bitten By The Bug 2</a> and have a great week!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

This is a picture of my Dear Daughter and I from awhile back. (Sorry about the glare, it's looks like we REALLY need a tan, and No we were not glowing, lol!) Isn't she Beautiful! Okay now we also have a few Questions that we need to answer so I'll try and be as Brief as possible but if you know me, that is going to be a chore, lol!</div><div style="text-align: center;">1. If you were a crayon what color would you be and Why?<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">Well Duh, I bet you can guess that one........... RED of Course, lol! I've always's just loved that color in clothes, Home Decor and Yep, you guessed it, My Hair, lol! It's just such a Fun color and you can do so much with it!</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">2. What would people be surprised to learn about you?<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">No surprises here, I'm an open book, LOL! But if it has to be something it would be that I work for Hallmark even tho I make my own cards, lol, go figure!</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">3. What 5 things are always on your crafting table?<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">Bling, Pop dots, Glitter, Flowers (all kinds), and Ribbon!</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">4. Your Go To embellishment is...............<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">I bet you can guess that one right off...........................</span></b><br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">BLING, of course, lol! Oh yea and gotta have dimension so lots of pop dots! (Sorry that's two!) =]</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">5. What is your all-time Favorite Crafting tool?<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">My Cricut of Course!</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">6. Tell us about your Family, first in one word. Then in a sentence or two.<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">Close! We do Everything together and we are very Close, lots of Love here!</span></b> </div><div style="text-align: center;">7. What is your Dream Vacation?<br />

<b><span style="color: #990000;">I like alot of the companies but as I look around my craft space the thing I see the most is Provo Craft products!</span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">9. Tell us a bit about your Crafty Style.<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">Well I go in waves I think. I don't necessarily have a certain style, I just kind of go with what I feel at the moment but I do like bold colors and since I love to use my Cricut I tend to use alot of cardstock over print papers and I just Have to have layers and of course some added Bling! But I'm really a fan of Vintage and I love to recycle! </span></b></div><div style="text-align: center;">10. Where do you live?<br />
<b><span style="color: #990000;">Well I live in Kentucky at the moment, I grew up in So. California and then lived in Las Vegas NV for 14 years before moving to KY. I'm really looking forward to reading all my Design Team Sister's answers too, I think it will be alot of fun, I've made some really great friends from the scrappy blog-a-sphere and getting to know other's that are as obsessed about crafting as you are is so much Fun! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well let me tell you a tiny bit about my layout before I send you on your way to the next blog in the hop. I used a few carts on this layout, for the Title and Frame I used Sophisticated. Title cut @ 3" with the shadow, Frame cut @ 7'. The Butterfly is from Sentimentals cut @ 2". The Heart Journal card is from Sophie cut @ 3" (and yes it does open!) And the Flowers are from Flower Shoppe and they are cut @ 3", 4", & 5". Everything is popped for dimension (like I said I Love the layers, lol!) I used the Martha Stewart Garden Trellis punch for the punched edge. Now I decided to do a Home Dec project but you can do Any project, but if the fancy strikes you I'd LOVE for you to join me and do a Home Dec project too!<br />
I'm also adding this to the Cricut Monthly Circle Challenge which is to create a Wall Art project. Well I did the Framed Welcome project and also a Vinyl project. It's not on the Wall per say but it's on the Step of the Stairs attached to the wall, I sure hope that counts for Wall Art! You sure can't miss it when you come in Our House, lol!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Now I know some of you know that we built our house (and I mean physically Built it ourselves) and any of you that have ever done that or even did renovations know that it's a never ending project! Well we just put some of the finishing touches on the Family room and that meant putting some new stairs in and I have been dying to do this and just LOVE how it came out! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN_rlm6u2dAQeOblkwjmuZPbK7F1WOU6LoZYeael_uuptHQRa7hd0gDguz6-vGU-y7diwl8vrFEVUmVhQTutqZpPBzNP5-f170wY-zRSjTV2oc-LKF3ByZXH_VswuDH2nfJMrCiYYLdwE/s1600/SAM_3854.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN_rlm6u2dAQeOblkwjmuZPbK7F1WOU6LoZYeael_uuptHQRa7hd0gDguz6-vGU-y7diwl8vrFEVUmVhQTutqZpPBzNP5-f170wY-zRSjTV2oc-LKF3ByZXH_VswuDH2nfJMrCiYYLdwE/s320/SAM_3854.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I used the Quarter Note Cartridge and welded the letters together using Design Studio and cut them @ 4". The flowers are from the Storybook Cartridge and cut @ 3 1/2". Now this was my first attempt at using vinyl (other then on the glittered Xmas ornaments) and I can say I will be doing it again! I almost gave up at first because I used some crappy Vinyl (the Paper Studio, has anyone else had a problem with that brand?) and it wouldn't even stay on the backing of what it came in, it kept coming up when it was cutting. Now I had originally wanted to use black vinyl but like I said it wouldn't stay on the backing so I used this Red and it actually goes perfect with my Red Wall, almost the same Red, I couldn't have planned that any better, lol! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnWbwZ0OIctP7wxKW_G5jqPYuqJckD9GrYIERMIv6ZLTWlijmj_XJLvztqkBR-gkM4vB7k-yDEjd_VRDHeHageeuCr10XFmZrG2gS6eBDlpYQ2SZTyIzf8V4PY_eHg_yrV3UvA7dZ90Mg/s1600/SAM_3850.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnWbwZ0OIctP7wxKW_G5jqPYuqJckD9GrYIERMIv6ZLTWlijmj_XJLvztqkBR-gkM4vB7k-yDEjd_VRDHeHageeuCr10XFmZrG2gS6eBDlpYQ2SZTyIzf8V4PY_eHg_yrV3UvA7dZ90Mg/s320/SAM_3850.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Sorry the pic looks like crap, I've been having MAJOR issues with blogger lat</span><span style="font-size: xx-small;">ely and for some reason my pictures are not coming through even tho they look fine on my computer, anyone else having this issue, this was the best pic I could get of this pic to show up on my blog, What's Up!?)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><br />
</span><br />
Well when I was trying to figure out the size I wanted I thought I would practice on some cardstock and then remembered I had these frames that I had bought so I figured I would make me a "Welcome" picture also. The Welcome is cut @ 4" and the scroll on the picture is from Home Decor and cut @ 2 1/2" and then it just need something and you know me, had to add some Bling, lol! The paper is from the DCWV Green Stack and I'm going to have to get me some longer paper because I had to piece it together for it to fit since the frame is 9" x 18" and it came from Walmart maybe around $5 (?) I think this would be a perfect gift for someone and I will be definitely be making more of these in the future!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
Well That's my project for the "WELCOME" <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2 Challenge</a>! I sure hope you join us and remember, it doesn't have to be Home Dec (although I'd love it if you did, lol) but it has to be a NEW project (no back linking) and please add a link back to <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a>! You can use ANY Cartridge and just use the word "WELCOME", that's it!<br />
<br />
We also have a sponsor this week with <a href="http://www.mycreativeclassroom.com/" target="_blank">My Creative Classroom</a>, hop on over and check them out and check out <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> for all the rules! It's another challenge day as always with <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> and this week the Wonderful, Sweet and Talented <a href="http://scrapellasblog.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Julia</a> got to pick our challenge and she decided she was ready for Spring to get here so she Our challenge is to use ANY Bunny or Chick from Any cartridge! How Easy Peasy is that!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"> Well I'm going to share with you another page from my 2012 calendar for the month of April! Well we all know that Easter is coming and of course how perfect for my calendar post then to use a Hoppy Easter theme! Well I used the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge for my page (yes I used the same cartridge for March also) but this is just a perfect cartridge for a calendar. Well I cut my Bunny @ 4" and my Saying @ 3". Used the shadow and had to add some dimension so I popped the Bunny and partial cut the flowers from the base layer because it doesn't have a layer for the flowers. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCpaU7pmM72cQPKQ3HvrVWpVsIBPRH0VsDG73gY9566o_A3rlh9_hOZuoo4mZahigsLOdO3DR6RDnnk1NySwud0aFpaVbyVy-xOH06sOMrF_DGEM1yQl318GE02LAKO5Kv9CjMeJaLjdA/s1600/SAM_3844_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCpaU7pmM72cQPKQ3HvrVWpVsIBPRH0VsDG73gY9566o_A3rlh9_hOZuoo4mZahigsLOdO3DR6RDnnk1NySwud0aFpaVbyVy-xOH06sOMrF_DGEM1yQl318GE02LAKO5Kv9CjMeJaLjdA/s320/SAM_3844_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Now the little birdie and banner is from the calendar kit so I didn't have to cut them out, they just go on the page but I did add some bling to the little birdies wing. You know me have to add some bling to just about EVERYthing, lol, (gotta love the bling, lol!) I also did a bit of doodling on the banner and also the Hoppy Easter. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dhv4dGujFxw/T10fjiN9olI/AAAAAAAABpI/7kx0CHP-mhk/s1600/SAM_3845_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="202" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dhv4dGujFxw/T10fjiN9olI/AAAAAAAABpI/7kx0CHP-mhk/s320/SAM_3845_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a pic of the dimension (and of course the bling, lol!) </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Well it's another challenge day over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketch's Die Cut Challenge</a> and the challenge is to use a "Cameo/Silhouette" for your project. Well I used the Forever Young cartridge and my Cricut because I just LOVE the Silhouettes on it. They are so Fun and knew I wanted to make two different cards using the negative space from one of them. I also wanted it to be kind of Vintage so I used this pretty paper from K & Company. Well I cut my Silhouette's @ 4" and cut two because, you know me gotta have some dimension! Then with the negative space of the silhouette I did my <a href="http://binkyblossoms.blogspot.com/2011/11/fun-glitter-packing-tape-technique-for.html" target="_blank">Fun Packing Tape Technique</a> and added some pretty pink Martha Stewart Glitter for a whole new look to my silhouette! Added them to the frame and of course had to pop those layers too. Now to accent my silhouettes I had to dress them up a bit with a couple of pearl necklaces and they are both have some pretty gemstones dangling there. Then one has a bow in her hair and one has a flower, So Elegant and Pretty! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oejsyrbX6ZM/T1mDKnN6jEI/AAAAAAAABno/Ak45yk16tHU/s1600/SAM_3824_edited.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-oejsyrbX6ZM/T1mDKnN6jEI/AAAAAAAABno/Ak45yk16tHU/s320/SAM_3824_edited.jpg" width="228" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here is a view of the purple card and all the details close up. Added some pretty recollections flowers to cascade at the top along with my much loved Bling. Added a few fancy photo corners with some more added bling. I also used a Martha Stewart punch and added a pretty sheer ribbon along with some more bling. And the "Seriously?" is cut @ 1" with the shadow and of course popped for some added dimension. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nVcmvSEwI7A/T1mDSJm6PbI/AAAAAAAABnw/K7UD0FprZUs/s1600/SAM_3833_edited.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nVcmvSEwI7A/T1mDSJm6PbI/AAAAAAAABnw/K7UD0FprZUs/s320/SAM_3833_edited.jpg" width="233" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here is the Pink card close up with some Pearl Bling added to this one and a Crepe Paper flower that I had made (you know me and my handmade flowers, Love them!) Now with the last name of "Kelly" everyone just assumes I'm Irish (my Father was) and I have to tell you I'm only Half (the other half is Italian!) I know what a combination (and yes I do have a temper at times, lol)! Now my Husband is Irish so that makes McCade as Irish as you can get and with the name McCade Patrick Kelly everyone always say's "Boy that's an Irish name is I ever heard one", lol! Well I have to tell you I don't really celebrate this holiday much other than wearing green on St. Patty's, but I HAVE to have Corned Beef and Cabbage on that day! I love it and I always make a huge pot of it and invite the neighbor's over, you know the more the merrier (they had never had it until I fixed it for them and now it's a tradition!) And I'm not a big fan of Beer so I will usually make Irish Coffee's after dinner, so if your in my neck of the woods on St. Patrick's, come on over, it'll be lot's of Fun! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Okay now on to my <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Wednesday</a> post! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ug_RG03CuTs/T1e_E0cBL1I/AAAAAAAABnI/rXa1r6wyw9Q/s1600/SAM_3820_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="305" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ug_RG03CuTs/T1e_E0cBL1I/AAAAAAAABnI/rXa1r6wyw9Q/s320/SAM_3820_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">For this card I used some Spellbinders Shapeabilities (along with a Spellbinders Banner) for my card. I just got these this week so I was pretty excited to use them. I actually won a gift certificate from Tim Holtz when he did his tags of Xmas to Inspiration Emporium and this is what I got with it, How Fun! Well it's a pretty simple card for me and can you believe I didn't use my Cricut Again! I added some lace and of course some bling and the stamp is one of <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Stephanie's</a> that you can purchase <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs-shop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">HERE</a> if you like. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well I sure would love to know if you join in the Celebration of St. Patty's and what your traditions are if you do so if you wouldn't mind I'd love to hear what they are in your comments (maybe I could start a new tradition from some of your ideas, lol) There was an Adorable Little Leprechaun Hut I seen on a new blog I found from a Gal named Holly and you can check it out <a href="http://ribbonsandglue.blogspot.com/2012/03/fantabulous-cricut-challengeluck-of.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>, McCade and I will be making one of these, it is Just Too Darn CUTE! You all know the routine here on Monday's, it's challenge day over at <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> and today <a href="http://lori1brat.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Lori</a> picked the Shamrocks from the Celebrate with Flourish Cartridge. Well I have used this Calendar Kit from Recollections and instead of using pictures I decided that I would do some die cuts each month and this is for the month of March! I cut my Shamrocks @ 4" and my Saying @ 2". I did some embossing then added some layers and I even popped the pre-made shamrock that came with the kit. Added a Martha Stewart border punch at the top, some velvet ribbon and of course some Bling! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vOXb8R_yvU/T1QzNXjukAI/AAAAAAAABm4/GrCtdt6VqbA/s1600/SAM_3813_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-0vOXb8R_yvU/T1QzNXjukAI/AAAAAAAABm4/GrCtdt6VqbA/s320/SAM_3813_edited.JPG" width="227" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">So what do you think of my 2012 Calendar!? This week we have a Super Fun Sketch Challenge that our Super Talented <a href="http://nannes-creations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Nanne</a> has created for us to Design with!<br />
Now I have another confession for you this week (boy I have alot of issues don't I , LOL!) Well I have to say, I have a Huge Fear of Sketches (gasp!) They really frighten me for some reason, lol! I just Love to look at sketches and and love what other people do with them but whenever I have to use one, I get really nervous, lol! They always seem so easy but when I print it out and wonder what I'm going to do I get all nervous and just stare at it for days! This was no different and even tho I didn't follow it to a tee I did use the concept, lol! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWlEgQeM2e2U8595EGCeAPkXe5Y0bu8ukq9G0mNHdmdwdMYYUadZSVeFQl9cX3I57TG2JRXc-BrZJSdUBX35jrGC_vNZ66_ErYEz887AkSr37Gucou1_lkarYDrbj9k0wpHC3oyYfPII0/s1600/SAM_3801_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWlEgQeM2e2U8595EGCeAPkXe5Y0bu8ukq9G0mNHdmdwdMYYUadZSVeFQl9cX3I57TG2JRXc-BrZJSdUBX35jrGC_vNZ66_ErYEz887AkSr37Gucou1_lkarYDrbj9k0wpHC3oyYfPII0/s320/SAM_3801_edited.JPG" width="283" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Well as some of you may know I've been going through alot of my craft supplies because my Wonderful Hubby gave me a new scrapbook area! (It still needs finishing and when it's done I will show you it, I promise, lol!) Well in my "Cleaning" I came across these little felt coasters from Michael's that alot of people were using a few years ago and I have this paper stack that I just Love from K & Company (very Vintage looking papers) and I knew I just had to do something with them and I didn't want to use my Cricut (GASP!) I know, not use my Cricut! Did I fall down and hit my head or something you ask!? No I just figure it's a Sketch challenge, and since they frighten me, I figured, why not really challenge myself and Not use my Cricut! So I didn't! What do you think!? I really Love it! Love the colors, so Springy and Fresh and of course I had to add some sparkle! I did use my Cuttlebug and a few punches though. All the scalloped circles that the pink coaster is on is my scalloped Spellbinders die and the large butterfly is a cuttlebug die. The small butterfly is a MS punch and the flower I made with a EK Success punch. I hand cut the banner/flags using some scrap pieces and I inked every thing to give it a even more Vintage feel and then popped most of the layers for some depth and dimension. Added some stickles to the butterflies for a bit more sparkle. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-osqMOE7J5sk/T009rerWXlI/AAAAAAAABk8/Wb2lKTtdv-c/s1600/SAM_3811.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-osqMOE7J5sk/T009rerWXlI/AAAAAAAABk8/Wb2lKTtdv-c/s320/SAM_3811.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I also added some Cute little Pom Pom trim and a bit of eyelet lace I had and added a pretty little resin flower. Then I used Stephanie's new Stamp "Everyday Sentiments" and embossed it. I have to say this is the first time in ALONG time that I did some heat embossing (and it won't be the last) but I have to ask you all, "Any pointers for embossing!?" And does embossing powder go bad or do I just have some old, not very good embossing powder (not this one, I had a few trial and error ones, lol)? And also, what is a good embossing ink to use!? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!!!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-krtQgztD-N8/T009r6D5GCI/AAAAAAAABlE/vlx_Z95UJxc/s1600/WW+Sketch+2-29-12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-krtQgztD-N8/T009r6D5GCI/AAAAAAAABlE/vlx_Z95UJxc/s320/WW+Sketch+2-29-12.jpg" width="223" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Well here is the Sketch that Nanne created and the one we were to use as our challenge. Almost any font cartridge can be turned into a monogram so you have lots of options so no excuse for not joining us this week, lol! I used the Sophisticated Cartridge by Teresa Collins for my Monogram and I used some fun Jenni Bowlin designer papers and went with a Red, Black and Cream color scheme this week using a pre-made card base. I cut my frame @ 5" and did some hide contour in Design Studio for my black background and then inked my Red with some black chalk. I also cut the Argyle image @ 3 1/2" to add a little more interest for my actual Monogram which is obviously a "T" and it was cut @ 2 1/2" and cut with the shadow. Thank You was cut @ 2" with the shadow and then everything has some pop with pop dots for more depth and dimension. And you know me I had to add some Bling! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOcBFxdd17s6xqXTauEubRYQoy-_lYqEd6c6pTGo3LL_ZuohQG3g_dcXq25wGuhuSpgJ-5Vx4KDXKFZp8SaRsFcRBZTa1OZGPojtC0Y67PX2DUCMOMhsaYWywAjUKxx9tPk9W7nXrwKww/s1600/SAM_3795_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="186" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOcBFxdd17s6xqXTauEubRYQoy-_lYqEd6c6pTGo3LL_ZuohQG3g_dcXq25wGuhuSpgJ-5Vx4KDXKFZp8SaRsFcRBZTa1OZGPojtC0Y67PX2DUCMOMhsaYWywAjUKxx9tPk9W7nXrwKww/s320/SAM_3795_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a view of the popped layers!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YzgBVngicBc/T0sJXT0ZCtI/AAAAAAAABkk/Hqxt1VH53O4/s1600/SAM_3800_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="285" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YzgBVngicBc/T0sJXT0ZCtI/AAAAAAAABkk/Hqxt1VH53O4/s320/SAM_3800_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And can you actually believe I finished the inside, Woo Hoo! I used the shadow from the argyle and the negative pieces are the cut outs from the argyle image on the front of the card, and of course, more bling, LOL! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well I sure hope you decide to join us for the "Monogram Challenge" You can use ANY cartridge. It just has to be a NEW creation and please add a link to <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a>. Also there have been some new issues with the Word Verify on the comments on some of the participants blogs and We, at BBTB2, would love it if you could turn off WV. There is a Very Nice post on the main <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2 Blog</a> addressing the issue so please make sure you check it out. With that being said I sure hope to see you for our new challenge and hope you have a wonderful week and have Fun Creating! I will be going to the New Hobby Lobby that is opening in the next town over from me (YIPPEE!) I don't have to drive 2 1/2 hours now to get to the closest one, now it's only 45 minutes! Boy I'm moving up in the World, LOL! That's what I miss the most about living in the Country, not having a craft store close by, and not any Good Restaurants (so we do alot of home cooking) I guess it saves us some money in the long run, lol! Well on that note, </div><div style="text-align: center;">I'm off to Hobby Lobby...........................! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Holy Cow, I've had 3 posts this week, can you believe it! Time sure flies when when you don't have enough of it, LOL! Well today is another reveal day over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches</a> and the challenge this week is "LOVE"! Any kind of Love you can interpret! Well I have a confession to share with you all! This was going to be my project for BBTB2 a couple of weeks ago but as I was cleaning up my new scrap space, I guess I just cleaned TO GOOD and this got stuck in with some papers and I COULD NOT it find anywhere, till this weekend, LOL! So with my work schedule and being short on time (again!) this is my "LOVE" challenge project! Please forgive me, I didn't get my other one done (hanging my head in shame!) But I do "Love You (All) To The Moon and Back! If it wasn't for all of you I would probably drive my poor Husband Crazy (well I still drive him crazy) but with all of you he gets a break once in awhile, LOL! </div><div style="text-align: center;">Well back to the "LOVE" challenge! The cart I used is Sweethearts and I used my trusty <a href="http://binkyblossoms.blogspot.com/2011/11/fun-glitter-packing-tape-technique-for.html" target="_blank">Packing Tape Technique</a> for my LOVE-ly Couple. The moon and star is from George Basic Shapes and the scalloped ovals are from Storybook. Now my stamped image "I Love You To The Moon and Back" is from <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs-shop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs</a>. Of course had to add some bling and the Moon and Star has stickles on them for more sparkle! Now the card I used is a recycled card, the red base is glittered flock and it's just the right pop of color I think, along with the touches of red bling! Added a sheer bow and that's it! I even finished the inside and forgot to take a picture of it, lol! (Boy I better get my act together, right!)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBU-w47Umjltl_8Zsx7rHryIgVPpKvv8nSzOMoJ5tnre9UohsFEmkm0xtFEqBwMqdnKYl1XFhUDQlfKPP6GXjJuvwN1tYu2OWGmgO2_8fP3W3kbpwwKAk282-AXXmY6-eOIol42UOftpE/s1600/SAM_3788_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBU-w47Umjltl_8Zsx7rHryIgVPpKvv8nSzOMoJ5tnre9UohsFEmkm0xtFEqBwMqdnKYl1XFhUDQlfKPP6GXjJuvwN1tYu2OWGmgO2_8fP3W3kbpwwKAk282-AXXmY6-eOIol42UOftpE/s400/SAM_3788_edited.JPG" width="283" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Now here's another view and you can see the sparkle a bit better.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Now I sure hope you join us over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge</a> this week for the "LOVE" challenge. You have two weeks to enter and you can use ANY die cut machine and it has to be a NEW creation (not just for SOUS, I know there's Lots of challenges out there, but please mention us, we'd Love to have New Participants!) It's my first post with the Gals on the Design Team over at <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Wednesdays Designs</a>! How Exciting for my first post! The challenge is #43 "Time Flies" and the theme is to use "Wings" or a "Clock" (or you could use both I guess, lol) Well as you can see I used "Wings"! I used the Rock Princess Cartridge for my card today and cut my Heart with Wings @ 4" and if you seen Mondays <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> challenge post you can see I used the same paper stack by The Paper Studio: Uptown Flair w/glitter! I'm really lovin this stack so don't be surprised if you see it again in the near future, LOL! Now the pink Flocked paper is from some recycled cards I had and I can say it highlighted the stamped images from Stephanie's <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs-shop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs Stamps</a> PERFECTLY! I thought it may soak into the flock but it almost gave it a De-bossed look to it (if you could see it) but trust me, it worked great, very crisp and clean! I curved the "Fluttering By To Say Hi" stamp to put in the curve of the heart and then added the "Long Time No See" stamp on the banner with a bit of bling (you know me, gotta have some bling, lol!) I also added a little blingy crown, some stickles to the halo, a touch of ribbon and popped it for some added depth and dimension. That's it pretty simple for me but I really love it! I think the colors are just so bright, cheery and sparkly! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Now I sure hope you join in the #43 Time Flies Challenge with us over at <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Wednesdays Designs</a>. We have a challenge each week but each challenge is open for two weeks and all the rules are on the <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs Blog</a> and Please make sure to check out all the amazing projects that the Design Team did, it's the New Gals (including me, giggle) Debut along with the returning Gals so make sure to stop by and leave them some Love too, I'm sure they would love it! I'm sure this is going to be a must do challenge spot each week for you, hope to see you all <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">THERE</a>!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Today is <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Challenge</a> reveal day and the challenge is "You've Got Mail"! Now I have a little story for you today (not long but I want to share, lol) Well you know those cute little mailboxes that alot of gals are decorating. Well I seen them at Target and had a few in my cart and at the last minute I put them back, I have soooooo many things that I buy with the good intention of making something with them and then they just sit so I thought these little mailboxes would be another one of those things. Well as you can see they sure would have come in handy for this challenge, lol! And since I didn't have any I had to make one of my own and I have to say I really like how my mailbox came out! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXgQtPpVmAbqUqYFJWtAsxsHVAUOIohHGcUha6J59FiutACkCLqczByP-ZwYDOkYcRf3Jd9_8PjYQBiBth-HVSSiOmaQmG8TC8p3YvO4dmDZKI3_oq_PiR1mR82_6M_qa0SdL7GAkgvmU/s1600/SAM_3755_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXgQtPpVmAbqUqYFJWtAsxsHVAUOIohHGcUha6J59FiutACkCLqczByP-ZwYDOkYcRf3Jd9_8PjYQBiBth-HVSSiOmaQmG8TC8p3YvO4dmDZKI3_oq_PiR1mR82_6M_qa0SdL7GAkgvmU/s320/SAM_3755_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Well I used the Create A Critter cartridge and cut @ 6". Now I wanted it to open and had to do some freehand cutting and needed some hinges to make the door open and found them on the Cricut Sampler Cartridge (they were cut @1"). (The paper is My Minds Eye too by the way).</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9xhPvRFtixM/TzR-02eR6wI/AAAAAAAABiE/b0XhAv9rwQQ/s1600/SAM_3754_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9xhPvRFtixM/TzR-02eR6wI/AAAAAAAABiE/b0XhAv9rwQQ/s320/SAM_3754_edited.JPG" width="290" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Pretty neat huh, how it opens! Now I added some pop strips to give it some dimension, and to be able to put my "Mail" into it. I could even add a gift card or some cash also. And the flag actually works! I used a brad to make it go up and down! And the stamp is one from <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs-shop.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs</a> called "With Love". </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-t09_PaAvAcrP37Sr56HwdAnINFGyE7MgdLRMGFbRUkZf0AKlmtZ-aKilVs_VHa61jsitvWVsf__Mwmm1dM6jgBdtCqWVfjg3Q9vzgYsl7jUlzDKuRil-NiltKM6uLnS_TLy-J32oD9I/s1600/SAM_3759_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="290" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-t09_PaAvAcrP37Sr56HwdAnINFGyE7MgdLRMGFbRUkZf0AKlmtZ-aKilVs_VHa61jsitvWVsf__Mwmm1dM6jgBdtCqWVfjg3Q9vzgYsl7jUlzDKuRil-NiltKM6uLnS_TLy-J32oD9I/s320/SAM_3759_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Now here's a view of the open mailbox and the little card ("mail") that I made. It's from the Cricut Sampler cart also and cut @ 4 1/2". And the little heart is a Martha Stewart punch. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhbeP6S_Tlphkp2aIjzuRNJOVU4jfcgEqOtynAokUEAMD4iMEdVGS6nMTVKkZtzoqazqEvGMpUAZFE_KFv5A4ga_wuBI4CaNplXA2lY8o9khhGBavH5rXpGCwpI6JJEV1WTNn1G-DSGuE/s1600/SAM_3760_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhbeP6S_Tlphkp2aIjzuRNJOVU4jfcgEqOtynAokUEAMD4iMEdVGS6nMTVKkZtzoqazqEvGMpUAZFE_KFv5A4ga_wuBI4CaNplXA2lY8o9khhGBavH5rXpGCwpI6JJEV1WTNn1G-DSGuE/s320/SAM_3760_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> And here's a closed version with the little "Love" note. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rQSvypNRTy8/TzR_SHbQMXI/AAAAAAAABic/zrxYc-H2pIA/s1600/SAM_3756.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-rQSvypNRTy8/TzR_SHbQMXI/AAAAAAAABic/zrxYc-H2pIA/s320/SAM_3756.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And last but not least, you know I had to add a handmade flower! Well at least a couple of flowers. The larger rolled flower is from the Flower Shoppe cart cut @ 3" and the smaller flowers are punches from EK Success that I used my stylus to make them dimensional and give them some curve, the leaves are a punch from Emaginations, and of course had to add some bling centers. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Now I sure hope you join us over at the <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SOUS blog</a> for the "You've Got Mail" die cut challenge. The challenge is open for two weeks, it hast o be a new creation, you can use ANY Die cut machine and please add a link back to the <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Stuck On U Sketches blog</a> (others may want to play along). Time sure flies! (Don't forget to check yesterday's post to see who the winner of my blog candy is too) Well today Our Design Team Sister, the Talented and Sweet <a href="http://cardsbyshelly.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Shelly</a> picked the tags from the Sweetheart's Cartridge and I decided to make a little mini tag book. It measures 6" x 4" and it's a fun little Wedding Mini. I love this cart (I really need to use it more, heck I need to use ALL my carts more, lol) there are so many cute images on it, if you don't believe me make sure you check out the <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> Talented Design Team and see all the Cute projects they did. Well I had no reason to make this so it was just a fun little project, but now I have a little gift in case someone gets married, they just have to add pictures! And since there are so many pics I'll try and keep it short and sweet (well at least I'll try, lol!) I'll put sizes and page #'s form the book, in case your interested. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GWFKEEnIrac/Ty8-2QxDgCI/AAAAAAAABgc/bPRRZrFROtU/s1600/SAM_3731_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="163" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GWFKEEnIrac/Ty8-2QxDgCI/AAAAAAAABgc/bPRRZrFROtU/s320/SAM_3731_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here is the front cover, all the tags were cut @ 6" and I used my fun packing tape glitter technique (If your interested, check it out <a href="http://binkyblossoms.blogspot.com/2011/11/fun-glitter-packing-tape-technique-for.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>) on all of the tags for all the sparkle (which is Martha Stewart Glitter) image is on pg. 65 and the little embellishments are some Creative Touch sticker/dies, similar to Jolee's. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s8DoRa3A1o8/Ty8-7FVQpKI/AAAAAAAABgk/JWnXUMEyM5I/s1600/SAM_3733_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-s8DoRa3A1o8/Ty8-7FVQpKI/AAAAAAAABgk/JWnXUMEyM5I/s400/SAM_3733_edited.JPG" width="166" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Pages 1 & 2, the Heart Couple image is on page 40 and the cute saying is from <a href="http://www.whimsical-designs.com/" target="_blank">Whimsical Designs Sentiment Stamps</a>. Well it's the end of the month and that always brings a Blog Hop over at <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Bitten By The Bug 2</a> and today is just that day! Now if you got here from the So Talented and Sweet <a href="http://spartansusscraper.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Susan's</a> blog your on the right track but you can always start at the <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2 Blog</a> if you ever get lost.<br />
Well today <a href="http://crayola58a.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Carole</a> picked our challenge for the Hop and she picked the Baby Carriage from New Arrival (and Oldie but a Goodie!) Well I don't have that cart (gasp!) so you know the rules, if you don't have that cart you can use any cart with a Baby Carriage on it and I used Kate's ABC's, and Nursery Rhymes for the saying. I just got the Kate's ABC's cart at Christmas time and all I can say is "Why did I wait so long to get this, lol!" (then of course I had to get Nate's ABC's too, lol!) It is such a Cute cartridge and you will be seeing more from me using it! Well I finally made me a Layout (yes, it's been awhile for that too, lol!) I had some fun with this and used some of the new papers and tools that I got for Christmas also. The border is punched with the Martha Stewart punch, the flowers are handmade with a couple of EK Success punches and the butterflies are another MS punch. And of Course the Star of the layout is my Darling Grand Daughter Molly the day she was born! Isn't she Gorgeous!!!! She's 8 years old now (and still Gorgeous!) So you can see I'm a bit behind on scrapping my pictures, lol! (Shame on Me!) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQPUIPzPO70/TyWzwKuiJrI/AAAAAAAABfk/5vekJOJDDjY/s1600/SAM_3710_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQPUIPzPO70/TyWzwKuiJrI/AAAAAAAABfk/5vekJOJDDjY/s320/SAM_3710_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here's a close up of my Cute Little Molly and the cutie with the Baby Carriage (it's kind of hard to see that cute little pom pom trim on the bottom of the little ones dress!). The image is cut @ 5" and you know me, it's got some layers and pop for some added dimension. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rIYbmEkmeFU/TyWz16tHToI/AAAAAAAABfs/45Pewv3EZQM/s1600/SAM_3712_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-rIYbmEkmeFU/TyWz16tHToI/AAAAAAAABfs/45Pewv3EZQM/s320/SAM_3712_edited.JPG" width="226" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> (Had to sneak in another close up of Molly, lol) and also the pretty flowers with some added bling (of course, you know me, lol!) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dP5XkhDndlQ/TyWz5yfwp_I/AAAAAAAABf0/MFUP1Cgux9o/s1600/SAM_3713_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="143" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dP5XkhDndlQ/TyWz5yfwp_I/AAAAAAAABf0/MFUP1Cgux9o/s320/SAM_3713_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> The saying is from the Nursery Rhymes cart cut @ 2 3/4". Did a bit of doodling and added another MS butterfly ready to drop off a cute little bundle!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWoHtUoc2TdyuOPDWqXFYHr2ieNUZ3NpvdvH_MEy3Ckhg2SCrbPwgZks1TTvJnsy4XsjO92Pt1qPVNe7KU1Lv6ne-6d0czHi_ZX_BW4nVkMAaEfnuDrfKty0KImxkNIgA8Dq9x6oDpLKs/s1600/SAM_3723_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWoHtUoc2TdyuOPDWqXFYHr2ieNUZ3NpvdvH_MEy3Ckhg2SCrbPwgZks1TTvJnsy4XsjO92Pt1qPVNe7KU1Lv6ne-6d0czHi_ZX_BW4nVkMAaEfnuDrfKty0KImxkNIgA8Dq9x6oDpLKs/s320/SAM_3723_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And as I was creating I decided to make a card to have on hand because you can never have enough go to cards for those baby showers that seem to sneak up on you, so now I'm ahead of the game (for at least one card, lol!) This image is cut @ 4" and a few MS butterflies and another handmade flower added to my tag shaped pre-made card. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well I sure hope you join us for this fun challenge and of course the Blog Hop! If you started here don't forget to hop over to the <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2 blog</a> and start at the beginning but if you've already been hopping your next stop is going to be the Amazing <a href="http://huxtershouse.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Julie's</a> blog. And don't forget to enter our challenge, just link up with the linky on the main blog, you have two weeks to enter and you can win our Cute POW (Pick of the Week) Blinkie to add to your blog, along with bragging rights, just remember it had to be a NEW project (no back linking) and we would love to have you add a link to the <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2 blog</a>, (others may want to join in)! =] <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xJemOA5PFTc/TyW9FzzvSnI/AAAAAAAABgE/2KnSbmDgCpA/s1600/SAM_3724_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xJemOA5PFTc/TyW9FzzvSnI/AAAAAAAABgE/2KnSbmDgCpA/s320/SAM_3724_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> Now I have some blog candy I'm giving away, (I probably throw some more goodies in there, I've been doing some cleaning, lol) all I ask is that you be a follower and please leave me a comment telling me what projects or things you would like to see me post! I kind of feel like I'm in a rut and maybe you all can spark my curiosity to new endeavors or give me some new ideas or trends that are out there that I'm not aware of. Thanks in advance and enjoy the hop!<br />

Yep the challenge this week over at <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SOUS</a> is to use <b><span style="color: #0b5394;">"Snowmen"</span></b> (and I'm sure you could give him a Snow "Girl" if you like!) for you projects. I have a warm spot in my heart for Snow people and have been collecting them for quite awhile and have quite a few but I always seem to find more, lol! I actually wanted to make these for my Christmas cards this year but lo and behold I never did get Any cards done this year (shame on me!) I originally wanted to make a snowglobe card and had been inspired by a gal on the Cricut messageboard named Sharon and you can check out her blog and her snowman post <a href="http://designsbysharon.blogspot.com/2011/11/youre-coolsnow-globe-card.html" target="_blank">here</a>. (Yes I totally believe in giving credit where credit is due, kind of like Karma, lol!) I like how it turned out and who knows I still may make some more and use them this Christmas, lol! Well the card is 5 1/4" tall and is a tri-fold card and opens three ways. I created it on Design Studio (I still haven't used the Cricut Craft Room, I like new technology but it takes me awhile to get into it, lol!) I still like my DS! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgdZqmqgwvpmya2d3GFClgZtonALLVFNU8QbWDnDydlw4RuehCsEEdRJeAxhFFnrdJPbYxDJQ7Z3ZSacRhmLQowckMGtYOeD75TtbD_BLTOqXUa5xoDPHYshNLTjEjArl-KP8W0VRMgM8/s1600/SAM_3700_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgdZqmqgwvpmya2d3GFClgZtonALLVFNU8QbWDnDydlw4RuehCsEEdRJeAxhFFnrdJPbYxDJQ7Z3ZSacRhmLQowckMGtYOeD75TtbD_BLTOqXUa5xoDPHYshNLTjEjArl-KP8W0VRMgM8/s320/SAM_3700_edited.JPG" width="315" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here's a view of the card opened. I used George and Doodlecharms for this card, Doodlecharms is always a cute, go to, cart. I welded then cut the snowglobe @ 3 1/2" and the snowman is cut @ 2". You can use any shape you want to weld onto the rectangle base and I chose to use a rounded corner rectangle from George cut @ 5" and stretched a bit to fit the size I wanted. And the Cute little Snowman is welded and 2". Now for the actual snowglobe I re-used a cartridge clamshell and hand cut a circle and then embossed it with the cuttlebug snowflake folder. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yg-XNXaHBuY/TyHeL8SiVWI/AAAAAAAABe0/3qlEEGB-qhk/s1600/SAM_3701_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Yg-XNXaHBuY/TyHeL8SiVWI/AAAAAAAABe0/3qlEEGB-qhk/s320/SAM_3701_edited.JPG" width="250" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a close up of the little Cutie! I ran him through my little Xyron machine and glittered him with Martha Stewart glitter to make him sparkle then used black bling for his coal eyes and buttons and used some twine for his scarf. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TlWWy8A4Yhg/TyHeabv_V_I/AAAAAAAABfE/rew-YnWsTD8/s1600/SAM_3702_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TlWWy8A4Yhg/TyHeabv_V_I/AAAAAAAABfE/rew-YnWsTD8/s320/SAM_3702_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Now here's the close up of the Globe with the embossed plastic clamshell. Now the snowflakes are also a Martha Stewart punch and also added some bling (You know me, love the bling, lol)! Added some more twine and a little bread tag (yes an actual bread tag) with a snowflake added on it! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Rj7tfnoEOLM/TyHeChq-0PI/AAAAAAAABes/dIi_RRAc3Mw/s1600/SAM_3705_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Rj7tfnoEOLM/TyHeChq-0PI/AAAAAAAABes/dIi_RRAc3Mw/s400/SAM_3705_edited.JPG" width="278" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And here's one more picture of the closed up tri-fold card for you to see in all it's cuteness!<br />
<br />

Today is <a href="http://bugnme.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Jeri's</a> day to pick and she chose the Dimensional Flower from "Bloom" (Row 4, Key 10) Well Bloom is one of my favorite carts and you all know I LOVE Flowers so of course I had Fun with this one! Now remember if you don't have the Bloom cart, you can use Any dimensional flowers from Any cart with flowers, and there are Plenty of them (another fav and fairly new one is the Flower Shoppe cart too, and now the newest is Giant Flowers!)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhemCQ87ULO9tnj31I1R2JoOqGyCSc75yph09vel9I5bsp7_teqtnIbDmsGIAs_pkLg6dNwM6XqZmYJ7trNxiYEHMb5x8cefyDxG6QZJ9xC6bMNM4_8c4nKzXmJPYuxriKqwp3wiTakIhY/s1600/SAM_3686_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhemCQ87ULO9tnj31I1R2JoOqGyCSc75yph09vel9I5bsp7_teqtnIbDmsGIAs_pkLg6dNwM6XqZmYJ7trNxiYEHMb5x8cefyDxG6QZJ9xC6bMNM4_8c4nKzXmJPYuxriKqwp3wiTakIhY/s320/SAM_3686_edited.JPG" width="228" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Well I have been on a roll with the Easel cards lately haven't I, lol! Well here's another one! For my Frame I used Sophisticated (pg. 71) cut @ 4" and stood it to go vertical other then horizontal. I did a couple of layers (as always) for some added dimension. And don't you just love the Vintage Image! It's not a stamp (but sure would be a great one, don't you think) it's actually from <a href="http://www.graphicsfairy-diy.com/" target="_blank">Graphics Fairy</a>! She always has great Vintage images. You should check her <a href="http://www.graphicsfairy-diy.com/" target="_blank">blog</a> out!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKq-1u4qvf269ThRDxVSkqqgbTdBw8feVZ7quBfIZaqJkz32_X5gOPzxDAD-TB5FwpSa_rOn9pvpAgmbbFO5i-7rwETgKiH5vsS2kXbaTQkFOWKrGsxnaOeEzgx77Q1ZJuIVxHeRWARLM/s1600/SAM_3683_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKq-1u4qvf269ThRDxVSkqqgbTdBw8feVZ7quBfIZaqJkz32_X5gOPzxDAD-TB5FwpSa_rOn9pvpAgmbbFO5i-7rwETgKiH5vsS2kXbaTQkFOWKrGsxnaOeEzgx77Q1ZJuIVxHeRWARLM/s320/SAM_3683_edited.JPG" width="187" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Well Jeri wanted us to use dimensional flowers and I had to add a few Roses I made with the flower cut from Bloom. Now there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you would like to learn how to make them, just type in How to make Paper Roses. I even think Tim Holtz has a tut using his grunge paper. Added a few leaves made with a punch and then inked with <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1832" target="_blank">Quick Quotes Powderpuff Chalk Ink</a> Green With Envy. I also used <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1832" target="_blank">Pink Cheeks QQ ink</a> on the flowers and the rest of the card. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kcltfD2lGoU/TxzG53ONviI/AAAAAAAABeM/dJLx4_681C4/s1600/SAM_3688_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="178" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-kcltfD2lGoU/TxzG53ONviI/AAAAAAAABeM/dJLx4_681C4/s320/SAM_3688_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Now I used my Spellbinders nesties (Labels Four Small) to cut out my sayings. Now I used an older Stampin Up Stamp for the Sentiment called, wait for it.......................</div><div style="text-align: center;">I Like Your Style!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F7OPYT433Mc/TxzHBk5f0lI/AAAAAAAABeU/6ePphU0B2Ds/s1600/SAM_3690_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="180" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-F7OPYT433Mc/TxzHBk5f0lI/AAAAAAAABeU/6ePphU0B2Ds/s320/SAM_3690_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a close up of the Flowers, Dimension, And of course had to add some Bling! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Well I sure hope you join us over at <a href="http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">BBTB2</a> and don't forget if you don't have the Bloom cartridge you can use Any cart with Flowers, just make them Dimensional AND it has to be a NEW creation, You could win our great POW (Pick Of The Week) Blinkie to add to your Blog, along with braggin rights! I will definitely be getting more of these papers, I have a few more ideas that I want to do with them, along with my <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/Home.aspx">Spellbinders Dies</a>!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Yes I used my <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/c-35-grand-calibur.aspx">Spellbinders Grand Caliber Die Cut Machine</a> along with some great dies to create this Gorgeous Easel card! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLKUMzZMbE_JHhkckzFtERJoXDlm_WW_IK4YABN5aiqbu3OA-8meaNONtN87RX_eqmOnUwvkBdNJhmFwbBBeh_hPq-hDGJr9V-pdjOW3q31ozrnItLPF-ICwVEu7089UuC4b7Fo-08WRo/s1600/SAM_3669_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLKUMzZMbE_JHhkckzFtERJoXDlm_WW_IK4YABN5aiqbu3OA-8meaNONtN87RX_eqmOnUwvkBdNJhmFwbBBeh_hPq-hDGJr9V-pdjOW3q31ozrnItLPF-ICwVEu7089UuC4b7Fo-08WRo/s400/SAM_3669_edited.JPG" width="328" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> It's a pretty big card (6" x 6 1/2") and 5" when opened and in Easel position and it is a non-traditional Baby Card! (How's that for thinking outside the box, lol!) I used by brand spankin new die, <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-89-creative-book-pages.aspx">Spellbinders Creative Book Pages</a> for the basic card shape and then added some of the "pages" for the popped layers along with using the <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-57-labels-four-sm.aspx">Spellbinders Labels Four Small</a> to showcase my stamped saying. I also inked everything with <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=POW3">Quick Quotes Mocha Mama Powderpuff Chalk Ink</a> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ai-F6DKFM_w/TxW6pFfg3WI/AAAAAAAABdI/Z1JRYDFBStU/s1600/SAM_3672_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ai-F6DKFM_w/TxW6pFfg3WI/AAAAAAAABdI/Z1JRYDFBStU/s400/SAM_3672_edited.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Now here is a view from the top so you can see the pretty flowers, Birds Nest Stamp (which I colored with Colored Pencils and Gamsol) Bow, Bling and all that Dimension!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2hJCYiPPyHE/Txc8yopybuI/AAAAAAAABdY/ACqNe7KSB2w/s1600/SAM_3679.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2hJCYiPPyHE/Txc8yopybuI/AAAAAAAABdY/ACqNe7KSB2w/s320/SAM_3679.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>Here's a pic of the birds nest stamped image. It's a stamp I've had for quite awhile and I just love it! I forgot I had it but since doing some cleaning and reorganizing I found it! Now I don't have any Copic markers (Yet, lol) so I still do it the old fashioned way with colored pencils and Gamsol (Mineral Spirits) I stamped the image with Staz On Ink and then colored with my Prismacolor Pencils, it doesn't have to be perfect, you can leave some white peeking through, and then you just use a blending stump and Gamsol to "blend" the colors. You dip the stump in the gamsol and then touch it to the colors and they blend (almost like water colors). I'm going to try a paint brush next time I do this, just curious how it will work!!!! You need to keep dipping your stump into the gamsol and may need to use a couple of different stumps because you don't want the colors to smear into each other, but that's it! Looks pretty good and since I've Never used Copics I can't compare, but I will take the plunge one day, I just don't need another obsession at the moment, LOL! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sImo5DxbzS4/TxW6tBzAGMI/AAAAAAAABdQ/6Ys1Mt7e4Tc/s1600/SAM_3673_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="178" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sImo5DxbzS4/TxW6tBzAGMI/AAAAAAAABdQ/6Ys1Mt7e4Tc/s400/SAM_3673_edited.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Now here's a close up of the <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-57-labels-four-sm.aspx">Spellbinders Labels Four Small Die</a> along with a little added Bling! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Fqcvue41XFo/Txc89gVaCEI/AAAAAAAABdg/NPb5J8UVuzc/s1600/SAM_3678.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Fqcvue41XFo/Txc89gVaCEI/AAAAAAAABdg/NPb5J8UVuzc/s320/SAM_3678.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here's a close up of the gorgeous flowers with, of course, some added Bling!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Bf0HHlo_7Qo/Txc9IYh-tiI/AAAAAAAABdo/I78h0aygAcQ/s1600/SAM_3676.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Bf0HHlo_7Qo/Txc9IYh-tiI/AAAAAAAABdo/I78h0aygAcQ/s320/SAM_3676.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And last but not least one last picture at another angle to show you some of the dimension and those gorgeous papers! </div><div style="text-align: center;">Well I sure hope you all enjoyed the sneak peeks from CHA and the new <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1814">Quick Quotes</a> Papers and all the fun we had with our <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/c-35-grand-calibur.aspx">Grand Caliber Machines</a> (Thank You Again <a href="https://spellbinderspaperarts.com/Home.aspx">Spellbinders</a>!) We finally got some snow today after some rain which means ice and that means no school here today! Well at least it's Friday and now McCade gets a three day weekend! I worked yesterday so I'm taking today off so that worked out good since I don't have (or like) to drive in it! =] Well I think I'll be doing some scrappin today since I love to craft when it's stormy outside! And if we get enough snow I think we'll go outside and have some <span style="color: #3d85c6;">"Winter Fun"!</span> Also over at the <a href="http://stuckonusketches.blogspot.com/">Stuck On U Sketches</a> we're having some <span style="color: #3d85c6;">Winter Fun</span> also. Yep how perfect is that, couldn't have timed this better then to have a <span style="color: #3d85c6;">"Winter Fun"</span> challenge! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdyQV2g7CXrqfkS2Psjzq59v-16YZuowkOx5AGWB1pDs2eQE0H6rwtsnDFwD3srK5cScdpW5ZqmPc2URXXzUpLmC5H2BpT7C6PNGMk1cx22NcLSibA4nB6s1vV6JsygeOi1-wZXSDAmfU/s320/SAM_3662_edited.JPG" width="281" /></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Well I've been seeing lots of these Twisted Easel Cards lately and just had to try one. I've made the traditional Easel cards before but like the "twist" these have. It's a 5 1/2" x 4" size so it's a basic card size and then when it's standing open it's a perfect size I think. I used the Winter Frolic cartridge, love this cart, so many cute images on it. I just got it at the black Friday sale and I can't believe I waited this long to get it! I loved this cute little Bunny on ski's, (he's popped with a little spring so he wiggles, hee hee!) I'm NOT a skier at all, I've tried and just don't like it, lol, I don't like to be cold and wear all the binding clothes to stay warm. Now I do like to sled and in our backyard on our land we have some Great sledding hills and we take the 4-wheeler out and drag the kids back up the hills once they sled down them (so the big kids get to play in the snow too, lol!) so they get to sled down and then sled Up also, lots of <span style="color: #3d85c6;">Winter Fun</span>! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRCoYXgquXMc9QdOpAAOb7TdRQo8ZbvVzEryf7nEQ-KGfdb3u-w2oMZZ034BCiRmnlVW6CU6Q7_rdzNt_jWlC_fa4I1N8brpRWrzuwGUhQBqkJMpNDfdBWEMFcOMSctvhLgj0JojaITgI/s1600/SAM_3664_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="253" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRCoYXgquXMc9QdOpAAOb7TdRQo8ZbvVzEryf7nEQ-KGfdb3u-w2oMZZ034BCiRmnlVW6CU6Q7_rdzNt_jWlC_fa4I1N8brpRWrzuwGUhQBqkJMpNDfdBWEMFcOMSctvhLgj0JojaITgI/s320/SAM_3664_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Here's another view of the card and you can see more of the dimension of the wiggly Bunny. Everything is popped and had to add a bit of 'Frost" on it with some "Crystal" Stickles. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9kOaR-pKub8/Tw-HEexG9aI/AAAAAAAABco/2NAOVnGDQeg/s1600/SAM_3665.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9kOaR-pKub8/Tw-HEexG9aI/AAAAAAAABco/2NAOVnGDQeg/s320/SAM_3665.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Another view, you can see more of the frost and of course had to add a bit of bling! =] I also did some embossing on the hills and then inked them with a light blue ink to bring out the texture. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QmKVGFG2Pxg/Tw-HLs_xLpI/AAAAAAAABcw/zG8eDN7T-FQ/s1600/SAM_3668_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="159" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QmKVGFG2Pxg/Tw-HLs_xLpI/AAAAAAAABcw/zG8eDN7T-FQ/s320/SAM_3668_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">And here is a great view of all the dimension. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

It makes me all warm and makes me think of Summer which is kind of crazy when it's saposta be Winter right now! Well I don't know about you but we've had a pretty mild winter in my neck of the woods with only one day of snow so far. Don't get me wrong, I like the snow but I'm not a big fan of driving in it, LOL! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Well I have a layout to share with you today! This is using the new release from <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1814">Quick Quotes</a> called Summer Samba! And like I said before it reminds me of Summer! I also used my <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/c-35-grand-calibur.aspx">Spellbinders Grand Caliber Die Cutting Machine</a> and of course some Spellbinder Dies! The ones I used on this project are, <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-90-sprightly-sprockets.aspx">Sprightly Sprockets</a>, <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-57-labels-four-sm.aspx">Labels Four SM</a>, <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-186-classic-scalloped-circles-lg.aspx">Classic Scalloped Circles LG</a>, and <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-160-dahlia.aspx">Dahlia</a>. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqdoec5Dj2zTjQ2MXVXSB2yU7JiOIIEjYjpd-I8IuhtZlNQ6UhLudZGNFiTBRL6USeP-225-d0CixBkAISrEkSvA3ubskhymoaaBVnFS7Q1f06_IBqafbwABa3Hg7ORRwbSbu07Zx2Tm8/s1600/SAM_3649_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqdoec5Dj2zTjQ2MXVXSB2yU7JiOIIEjYjpd-I8IuhtZlNQ6UhLudZGNFiTBRL6USeP-225-d0CixBkAISrEkSvA3ubskhymoaaBVnFS7Q1f06_IBqafbwABa3Hg7ORRwbSbu07Zx2Tm8/s320/SAM_3649_edited.JPG" width="314" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">For some added dimension I fussy cut the flowers on the QQ Summer Samba paper and popped it after inking it with <a href="http://www.shopquickquotes.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=POW9">QQ Powderpuff Blue Hawaiian Chalk Ink</a> for added depth. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rNcgReQi6J0/Twot-xhk04I/AAAAAAAABbg/COe9zDVOqMA/s1600/SAM_3656_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="172" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rNcgReQi6J0/Twot-xhk04I/AAAAAAAABbg/COe9zDVOqMA/s320/SAM_3656_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> For my Banner I used one of my <a href="http://www.spellbinderspaperarts.com/products/p-57-labels-four-sm.aspx">Spellbinder Labels Four SM Die</a> and folded them over a piece of blue and white twine, added a flower and of course can't forget the bling!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">1<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qYT1VnnyiX8/TwouEfFOElI/AAAAAAAABbo/qyXRISoaHCs/s1600/SAM_3651_edited.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qYT1VnnyiX8/TwouEfFOElI/AAAAAAAABbo/qyXRISoaHCs/s320/SAM_3651_edited.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> Now what do you think of my Sun!?
