It's Blog Hop Again over at BBTB2! Tie One On........An APRON that is....Hee Hee!!!!!! And let's get to Hoppin!

Well it's Monday and BBTB2 time again. It's also the last Monday of the Month so that means Blog Hop Time also! The challenge this week is picked by my lovely Design Team Sister Penny and she chose the Cute Little Adorable Apron which is from the From my Kitchen cartridge. I LOVE this cartridge, one of my favs and I LOVE this little Apron. I have a thing for aprons so I was really excited about doing this challenge. ( I make handmade up-cycled denim overall aprons that I sell on Etsy, when you get a chance check them out!) And if you don't have this cartridge you can use any apron  to play along. There is also a cute apron on the new Country Life Cartridge or there are some adorable Apron Stamps or digital images out there you are encouraged to use.
I have a layout done on my Gypsy but since my slave driver husband has been forcing me to work on the house (at least I'm getting my craft space done) I had to do a quick card (well okay I did two cards, lol) but I think they turned out great. I just bought the little ball fringe ribbon awhile ago and just found this paper yesterday when I was going through all my old bins of scrap stuff that have been in storage for the last 3 years (yes it was like Christmas) and the colors were just perfect so of course the fringe had to go on the aprons. Too Too Cute, don't you think! I had originally did the green card base but thought it had too much green in it so had to do a pink card base so that's how I came to make two.
Okay now back to the blog hop, if you hopped here from my Amazing and Talented Design Team Sister Julia's blog your in the right place. If you ever get lost while your hopping around just go back to BBTB2 and the list will be on there. I have some blog candy and all you have to do is make sure your a follower of my blog and leave a comment. I am hoping to hit 200 follower's this hop so if I do I will be adding a few more goodies so make sure you pass on the Blog Hop Link. I am going to include Canada this month, along with my fellow US residents, since I've noticed that I have quite a few Canadian follower's (Woo Hoo to my Canadian follower's) and I love all of you and I just have to include you also. So make sure you are a follower and don't forget to leave a comment! (I will check up on you, LOL) Your next stop will be the Lovely and Talented Design Team Sister Julie's blog. I'm sure she'll have another amazing creative apron for you to ooh and ahh at, along with all the other amazing ladies, they are all so talented! Have fun hopping and don't forget to comment and follow.

I have a few chipboard mini's and a small paper pack and then I also included two handmade beaded bookmarks that I myself have made. The beads are purple glass for all you girls that love the purple and the picture just doesn't do them justice, they really are quite pretty. Now remember if I hit 200 follower's I will add a few more goodies to the candy bowl.
Well hope you all had a blast on the blog hop if you get lost go to the BBTB2 blog here. Have a great week and hope to see your challenge aprons.
Take care and Froggie ((Hugs)) Theresa!

Challenge over at Olive Juice Studio!!!!

Okay there is a challenge over at The Olive Juice Studio and here is the Dilly-O (that's rules in my Corny way of saying it, LOL):

1. Your project must include a stamped image – it can be a rubber, clear or digital stamp image OR it may include a clip art image.
2. It must include at least one Cricut cut.
3. It must include fiber, a ribbon or fabric somewhere in the project.
4. It must include at least one piece of bling – such as a bead, pearl, gemstone, glitter, etc.
5. It needs to include at least one patterned paper.

This challenge can be anything – a card, scrapbook page, tag, altered item, home decor, repurposed/recycled item, etc.
I made this card for a friend's birthday, well actually I made two of these cards, I did the digi stamp in two different sizes so I made two cards (the other one got sent to the friend). And made it into an Easel Card. The Present is from Stretch your Imagination Cartridge and it has LOTS of layers on it. The Happy Birthday is Gypsy Wanderings. The larger flowers are from the George Cartridge and the smaller flowers are a punch, the cupcakes and the loopy punches are Martha's, the circles were cut with three different layers with my Circle Scallop Nesties and the polka dot purple ribbon is from Michael's. And if you know me it's not done until it has a little shimmer and bling to it so the sprinkles on the cupcake are stickled and the centers of the flowers have a bit of bling! Hope you like it, that little monkey sure does, he can't wait to dig into that yummy looking pink cupcake! As a matter of fact I think I may have to bake me some cupcakes this week. I've been wanting some lemon ones for some reason but don't know if anyone else here would eat them and I can't have a couple dozen cupcakes sitting around here if no one but me likes lemon so maybe I'll have to re-think that one. LOL!
Well have a great evening and don't forget tomorrow is the Blog Hop at BBTB2, Hop on by and join the fun, there will be lots of great Candy to be given away! Thanks for stopping by and Take Care,
Froggie ((Hugs)) Theresa

Life's A Beach-Flamingo Challenge @ BBTB2

Happy Monday Everyone and you know what that means..................Over at Bitten By the Bug 2 it is challenge day! My fellow Design Team Sister Melissa has chosen the Flamingo on the Life's a Beach Cartridge and Melissa wanted us to "kick it up a notch" and not make it your "normal pink" flamingo! You know, use some crazy paper, crazy color, just about anything to make it different. So I found some older BasicGrey papers that I still LOVE! I bought this paper to do some layouts and mini books a few years ago for McCade and just found a Brand New package of it so what better "different" papers are these to bring out some color!
First of all I used the square card feature to make a card. Cut it at 5 1/2" and then had to add some layers to it. The next layer is the Happy Birthday cut with the flamingo attached and cut a t 4". There isn't a shadow cut on this cartridge and I needed a bit more substance and color so I "stretched the Happy Birthday cut just a bit to give it a bit of a border and the cut off the flamingo and just used the saying. The black flamingo layer added to the card is also cut at 4" and then for my "Pop" of color and "different kicked up a notch" flamingo was cut out of some bright blue.
Added the Palm Tree cut at 5 1/2" and added a few layers to it and of course had to add some bling as the coconuts! I did some faux stitching and added a flower and a bit more bling also. Now remember if you don't own Life's a Beach, use any flamingo to join us this week in the challenge.

I almost didn't get this done since we have still been doing the home renovations this week. I was having withdrawals this week not being able to do anything but work on the house. I was guest Master Olive over at Olive Juice Studio and didn't get a chance to bask in the glow of being a celebrity, Ken had me working like a commoner! LOL I barely even got to check my e-mails all week. (Boy did I have ALOT of e-mails when I finally got to check them!) But we have finally got the major rooms done and they are now being used as our extra rooms and McCade has a whole new room, which is Soooooooo GREAT! And I FINALLY have more room! And, wait for it........................................MY OWN CRAFT SPACE!!!!!! That is a miracle in itself! It is still a work in process but I tried it out yesterday when making this card and it's going to work out pretty nice. I have to say tho that the card isn't exactly what I wanted because I needed "more" to it (if you know me I like to ADD) and I couldn't get to/find my cuttlebug so I didn't get to emboss anything and I think that's what it needed. Just that little bit of Oomph, you all know what I mean, especially after you've embossed anything, it's just not finished sometimes until you emboss. Well that is my goal today, get "my space" together and find my cuttlebug. And I get to go though all my crates of "older" supplies that have been in storage in what seems like forever. So it may be just like Christmas for me today! I'll keep you posted this week what I find, It may work out pretty good because next week is the last Monday of the month and you all know what that means........... Blog Hop time so make sure you come back next week and see what BBTB2's challenge will be next week! So until then have a great week and hopefully I will be able to post more this week.

AMAZING NEWS! I WON One of my designs will be in an Infomercial!

Isn't that amazing! I am so excited! I haven't been able to post anything about it but today we got the go ahead to let the world know so I'm shouting it from the rooftops, I WON, WOO HOO! It was through the Cricut Circle and they asked us for our submissions and I sent one in and was contacted the same day that I had been picked and I had to send in 3 "step outs" and one finished project. Boy all I can say is "Wow that was ALOT of work and had to get it done FAST and overnight it to Cathy at Provo Craft, (super sweetheart that gal, chatted a couple of times on the phone with her and she is a real doll!) Well I will get reimbursed for my supplies and won $50 and a very exclusive cartridge and I think (?) a copy of the DVD when it is finished, but don't quote me on that last one, LOL!
Well I just wanted to share my good news will all you wonderful blog buddies, You all know how exciting that is because most people don't understand our obsession with our Cricuts, LOL!
Take Care and Have a Great Friday,

Joys of the Season challenge over at BBTB2 this week!

Well It's Monday again and You all know what that means.................................
BBTB2 challenge time!!!! Well this week we are using the Joys of the Season Cartridge and we are to use the cup on page 51. (2nd row all the way to the left on the overlay.) If you don't have the cartridge feel free to use any cup on any cartridge to join us in the weekly challenge.
Well I decided to make a card this week, I wanted to make another Layout but time just got away from me. We are still working on the house, sometimes I feel it will never get done but hopefully the majority will be done this week and we can start getting things in there and I can start to get my crafting space put together, WOO HOO to me!!!!

Well I did alot of layering on this one! I just love the look of my fellow Design Team Sister http://donnamundinger-popsicletoes.blogspot.com/, she does LOTS of layering and she has inspired me to give it a try and I have to tell you I LOVE IT! Thank You Donna! And of course a cup of tea isn't a cup of tea with out the tea bag (well unless you use loose tea and then you need a ball to steep it in, but that's a whole other subject, so I stuck with the easy way and used a tea bag, LOL)

The sentiment I printed on my computer. I did everything on Design Studio and I cut everything at 5" and the 2 top layers of the flower were cut 4" and 3" and all layered. And of course had to add a touch of bling! LOL
Well hope to see you all over at BBTB2 for the challenge and there is also a few giveaways going on over there, GREAT goodies to be won. We hit 1000 followers and having a big celebration so make sure you check that out also! And I am also going to be featured over at Olive Juice Studio Blog tomorrow so don't forget to hop on over there and check out the "interview" Kim gave me, I think you'll get a chuckle out of it! It sure was fun, that girl sure is a hoot and a holler and if you've never went to her blog make sure you do, HERE! You won't be sorry!!! It will make your day!
Well that's it for now, have a great day and hope to see you over at BBTB2!

Dino Crossing over at the BBTB2 challenge!

Well it's Monday and that means a new challenge over at BBTB2 and this week it's going to be all about the Dinosaur's. It's Reader's Choice and the original cart was Dinosaur Tracks and since I don't have that cart (and I think most of the gals on the Design Team didn't either, most used  Paper Doll Dress Up, so Heather changed it to Paper Doll Dress Up, LOL) But now if you have Dino Tracks Cart and want to enter the challenge go ahead and use Dino Tracks. There are also  Dino's on Create A Critter, B is for Boy and Birthday Cakes carts.
Well I didn't know what to do with this one but as always once I get going I just can't stop, LOL! I was originally going to make a card and it blossomed into another layout. I was having some problems with the colors and originally I wanted to do brighter colors but I just couldn't get the colors to go so it's a pretty monocramatic green color scheme with touchs of brown, LOL! And I did ALOT of chalking! It really gives alot of personality to those little Dino's, Hee Hee! I did alot of pen work (which doesn't show up good in the pics but click on a pic to see it better) and did some popping for some more dimension and the journaling spot is under the title where the Dino Crossing is (the font is from Hello Kitty Font by the way) and also, what do you think of.............
that Lava!!? Pretty cool huh!? Yep, had to get some sparkle on this layout somehow, LOL! So I added some red stickles for the icing on the cake, (or lava on a volcano) so to speak! LOL And also added some basic bundling twine for a bit more interest other then using ribbon, gives it a little more rugged feel don't you think? Well that's it for now, hope you will join us in the challenge over at BBTB2 I would love to see your take on this challenge. It's always easy for us to do the frilly cutesy challenges but this one, at least for me, really was a "challenge"! LOL have a great week, Take Care and Froggie ((Hugs)) Theresa.
